In this combined English/History class, students explored the Civil Rights era and were asked to demonstrate how a portion of the population in America today continues to struggle for equality. Jake, Emily, and Charles chose to highlight the challenges that people with Autism face, and a reluctant public awareness to fully integrate them into society.
