Through an uncanny coincidence, Lauren and Hannah’s fathers both contracted cancer around the same time, both received treatment from Sacred Heart Medical Center, and both miraculously survived. In their Advanced Photography class, they used the digital storytelling workshop to share their fathers’ stories of personal triumph. They also plan to give copies of this project to the staff at Sacred Heart as a thank you for the support the provided them and their families.
